The 12 principles of highly successful leaders

1.        Be true to character

What I believe this means is that you have to be true to yourself before anything. You have to have a good character. Being true to your character can be very different things. For example the way you interact with others you have to be a truthful person to them if they are doing the same. Like let’s say you have a best friend don’t lie to them about things that is not being a good friend that makes your character look very bad because they won’t be able to trust or tell you anything. Another example is stealing, you shouldn’t steal and then deny it that also makes you look bad and people won’t lend you nothing when you are in need. Last example is not choosing the right, if you aren’t being responsible, respectful, humble, loyal then you are automatically choosing the wrong. It becomes a habit to choose the wrong so when you think you are doing something positive you end up doing something bad because you are s used to it. I use this principle in my everyday life because I wouldn’t want anyone to lie to me if I’m being honest with them. I choose the right so it can become a habit.

2. Use Your Imagination

I like this principle because having a big imagination is very good. Using your imagination is good because you are more open minded about things and you figure ways out how to make things much better. Using your imagination might sound childish but it’s very good because you take people’s ideas as well. You can help out people in many ways like when they are having trouble doing a project you will help them out. Being creative is a good thing because you might get to explore new things. Every idea counts and I strongly believe that all of our ideas matter. I apply this to myself because using your imagination is a very good thing. With out imagination people would not be able to advance.

Three Fundamental Techniques in Handling People & reflection

Three Fundamental Techniques in Handling People

1.       Don’t criticize, condemn, or complain
“If you want to gather honey, don’t kick over the beehive”
Treat people as you would want to be treated. For example, if you want someone to be nice to you, then be nice to them. Most of the time people will react the same way as you approach them. It’s can also mean that if you are mean to others they will react the same way you act. It’s like when you say I heard that you were talking about me and they have been your friend for a while it’s like how do you expect them to come at you like. You can’t tell what to do all you can do is give good advice. Don’t talk about no one’s past or what they are going through if you never been through where they have. It’s not right to assume or talk about someone you don’t even know like that. If someone asked for favors don’t complain or anything just politely say yes or no and say a reason why you said yes or no don’t just be rude and say an upsetting comment. You can’t be mean to no one if you aren’t ready for someone to treat you bad.

2.       Give honest and sincere appreciation

“The big secret in dealing with people”
You should always be honest with someone because you wouldn’t want them to lie to you. If you see there doing something that can give them bad consequences tell them if they don’t listen it’s up to them. Just the way you would want honesty, it should be the same towards them.  Be very sincere with people and appreciate what they do for you and how they take some time and spend it with you. That’s why when you have a friend that is having trouble go ahead and help them and show them that you sincerely appreciate what they do for you. Being honest with people is the key to deal with people you can’t be around talking to people and lying about what you like and dislike about them. I have always applied this in my life style because I believe that honesty is the key to friendships. It is also a base to have a healthy relationship with a partner or just a friendship.

3.       Arouse in the other person an eager want
"He who can do this has the whole world with him. He who cannot, walks a lonely way."

Reflection

What I learned from the Three Fundamental Techniques in Handling People is “don’t criticize, condemn, or complain “which means that you should treat people the way you want to be treated.  For example if you want someone to come at you with a good attitude you have to do the same respect someone else like  you want to be respected. It can also mean that do not go negative. People just don’t want to hear it. The second fundamental technique called “give honest and sincere appreciation” means you should always be honest with someone because you wouldn’t want them to lie to you. If you see there doing something that can give them bad consequences tell them if they don’t listen it’s up to them. The keyword is sincere. If you’re not being sincere, people will know it. Try to find something to appreciate in all of the people that you meet and know. The last fundamental that I was introduced to was, arouse in the other person an eager want. What that means is that it means that you want to get people motivated, keep them motivated, and spur them on.

“The Six Attitude Of High Achievers”

“The Six Attitude Of High Achievers”
John R. Noe
1. Make no small plans
This is one of the few of high achievers. What this means is that when you are a high achiever you never tempt to think small you always want to think big and do big things that normally you wouldn’t think of doing.  You want to overcome new things that you’ve always planned or dreamed.  Making little plans only make you feel that that’s the only things you can do.

This is also another quote that is similar to number 1. You have to dedicate yourself to overcome obstacles and do big things. Don’t become discourage when you try and do something and you did not achieve it, it just means that you have to try harder. Giving up is making small plans to yourself. You are closing your mind to do beautiful things because you are so selfies and only think that you can’t achieve things that no one else tempt to try. I like this because I don’t like making no small plans that’s only for people that are scared of achieving new things in life.

3. Are willing to prepare
This is very important to me because I have to prepare myself now to successes later on in life. I have to do well in high school to continue with my education. Preparing myself is a good way to choose the right and stay in the right path. I am willing to do my best so I can be something big and peruse my dreams. Success starts with my way of preparation and how I’m doing right know will affect my life when I’m older. When I don’t prepare myself for something I should expect to fail or just not do good. Preparing yourself helps you to be a better you.
I like this quote because you can expect something good to happen if you haven’t prepared yourself for it. An example you can’t expect to get a 100% on the test if you didn’t study and prepared yourself for it. If you don’t study and prepare yourself then don’t expect to do good expect to fail and have a low grade. If you prepare to fail then you are ready to fail and never succeed in life.

4. Are willing to risk failure

I really like this quote that I found in the internet. What it means to me is that you must take a risk to fail and then you will experience the true success. It indicates that not all the time you will be 100%, but it’s worth taking risk to. You must be willing to take chances even if you might not successes I’m not saying bad but why not tempt to risk. This isn’t as much inspiring as it is statistical – the more times you try, the more you will fail and succeed. To avoid failure is to avoid success. The difference between willing to fail and unwilling to fail is by taking the risk. If you never risk you never try and if you never try you don’t succeed. You have to tempt to think outside the box, life is full of surprises in which I mean that you might fail or you might not. But not all the time that you are willing to risk something you are going to succeed. You have to be willing to fail in order to try and succeed. If you fail there is always a next time. Like I said life is full of chances so take them even if you fail. It’s better to fail but at least knowing that you tried inside of failing with out risking.
6. Have heart
What this means is that don’t be a mean person to others. Be someone that a friend can talk to when they are having problems. Don’t push people away. An example of having a heart can be like when someone is not having a good day ask what’s wrong and be there for them just like you would want someone to be there for you. Having a heart doesn’t mean it has to be financially it can be mentally. Another example can be like when you see someone getting bullied stand up for them. Have a good heart and help someone that needs help.

How I would apply for this attitude would be becoming a better person toward others. Being a kind helpful person and help people that are not having good day. I already use this attitude towards the people around me. I use this attitude when I see someone not having a good day or when something is wrong with a sibling. An example is when I see an old man laid down in the side walk I came up to him and gave him money. It’s not about how much I gave him but I helped in the way that made me feel good towards myself.

The six attitudes of high achievers
Overall reflection: what I learned from this six attitude where a lot of things. It made me understand that in order to succeed you have to make no little plans. In a way that it’s better to dream big and commit yourself to achieve what you want. Second, do what they fear an example that had come across my mind was that you have to think outside the box, do what you know others won’t do. Think differently. Third, are willing to prepare. This is very important to me because I have to prepare myself now to successes later on in life. If you don’t prepare yourself for something don’t expect to do good. Preparing yourself helps you to be a better you. Fourth, are willing to risk failure that you must take a risk to fail and then you will experience the true success. To avoid failure is to avoid success. The difference between willing to fail and unwilling to fail is by taking the risk. Fifth, are teachable an example of this is like when you are doing wrong and someone is trying to teach you that you are doing wrong don’t be close minded and ignore. Being unteachable doesn’t help you succeed all it does is that it doesn’t help you improve or better yourself from where you are. Sixth, have heart be someone that a friend can talk to when they are having problems. Don’t push people away.

“Decisions Determine Density” (09/11/15)

    09/11/15
“Decisions Determine Density”
Thomas S. Monson

I like this quote because what it tries to explain is that any decision you make is going to reflect to your density. So if you choose to do wrong decisions in life like an example go to jail and once you come out and look for a job you most likely not to find one because you will be considered a criminal and it will all reflect on you. If you do good things in life you should be successful and live a good life with your family and friends. Your decisions now are the result of what is going to be in your life later on. So make sure to always do good positive decisions because remember what you do reflect on you. I would but myself in a position that what I want to do is graduate and go to college and that’s my decision, when I do so and have a good job, money, cars, and my house will be what I have succeeded in life and the decisions I’ve taken.
