Three Fundamental Techniques in Handling People & reflection

Three Fundamental Techniques in Handling People

1.       Don’t criticize, condemn, or complain
“If you want to gather honey, don’t kick over the beehive”
Treat people as you would want to be treated. For example, if you want someone to be nice to you, then be nice to them. Most of the time people will react the same way as you approach them. It’s can also mean that if you are mean to others they will react the same way you act. It’s like when you say I heard that you were talking about me and they have been your friend for a while it’s like how do you expect them to come at you like. You can’t tell what to do all you can do is give good advice. Don’t talk about no one’s past or what they are going through if you never been through where they have. It’s not right to assume or talk about someone you don’t even know like that. If someone asked for favors don’t complain or anything just politely say yes or no and say a reason why you said yes or no don’t just be rude and say an upsetting comment. You can’t be mean to no one if you aren’t ready for someone to treat you bad.

2.       Give honest and sincere appreciation

“The big secret in dealing with people”
You should always be honest with someone because you wouldn’t want them to lie to you. If you see there doing something that can give them bad consequences tell them if they don’t listen it’s up to them. Just the way you would want honesty, it should be the same towards them.  Be very sincere with people and appreciate what they do for you and how they take some time and spend it with you. That’s why when you have a friend that is having trouble go ahead and help them and show them that you sincerely appreciate what they do for you. Being honest with people is the key to deal with people you can’t be around talking to people and lying about what you like and dislike about them. I have always applied this in my life style because I believe that honesty is the key to friendships. It is also a base to have a healthy relationship with a partner or just a friendship.

3.       Arouse in the other person an eager want
"He who can do this has the whole world with him. He who cannot, walks a lonely way."

Reflection

What I learned from the Three Fundamental Techniques in Handling People is “don’t criticize, condemn, or complain “which means that you should treat people the way you want to be treated.  For example if you want someone to come at you with a good attitude you have to do the same respect someone else like  you want to be respected. It can also mean that do not go negative. People just don’t want to hear it. The second fundamental technique called “give honest and sincere appreciation” means you should always be honest with someone because you wouldn’t want them to lie to you. If you see there doing something that can give them bad consequences tell them if they don’t listen it’s up to them. The keyword is sincere. If you’re not being sincere, people will know it. Try to find something to appreciate in all of the people that you meet and know. The last fundamental that I was introduced to was, arouse in the other person an eager want. What that means is that it means that you want to get people motivated, keep them motivated, and spur them on.

“Decisions Determine Density” (09/11/15)

    09/11/15
“Decisions Determine Density”
Thomas S. Monson

I like this quote because what it tries to explain is that any decision you make is going to reflect to your density. So if you choose to do wrong decisions in life like an example go to jail and once you come out and look for a job you most likely not to find one because you will be considered a criminal and it will all reflect on you. If you do good things in life you should be successful and live a good life with your family and friends. Your decisions now are the result of what is going to be in your life later on. So make sure to always do good positive decisions because remember what you do reflect on you. I would but myself in a position that what I want to do is graduate and go to college and that’s my decision, when I do so and have a good job, money, cars, and my house will be what I have succeeded in life and the decisions I’ve taken.

Accountability (08l24l15)

Accountability
Definition:  the fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility

I like this quote because every single person should take full responsibility for their actions. Also, be responsible and let others trust you in school and out of school.  Have the courage when you know you did a mistake and deal with the consequences don’t be a coward and be afraid. An example is you are at school and you are the team leader be accountable and bring the supplies don’t make other people fail because you choose to fail yourself. You should be someone people can trust. And if you didn’t do the assignment to be a coward and make up a lie is better to tell the truth then to lie.
